How I Feel About Homosexuals
Today I was acquainting myself with WordPress and I ran across this post about how I may feel about homosexuals.
Jeff is a great guy and I made sure when I knit him together in his mother’s womb I gave him a high IQ so he could think deeply about things—especially issues of faith. Many people don’t realize I placed lots of people like Jeff in the world so you wouldn’t accept just any ideas, but you would test even your own ideas about faith.
One of these days I’ll do a post on Richard Dawkins. That might just turn out to be a book!
Jeff makes some good points. His best point is to remind all of you that not all of my words and thoughts are written down. Some of the words I have spoken are written down places other than the Bible.
Some of you seem to think I hate homosexuals, some of you seem to think I love homosexuals but hate homosexual activity.
Here’s the reality: I want you to love one another. Your world is filled with people of all types who are in desperate need of love. Many of you even have people living under your own roof who need to know you love them.
Before you start worrying too much about other people’s lives, try being excellent at loving and comforting and caring about one another. Do that for a few decades and then we’ll begin talking about homosexuality—if you still care.
